Inspiration for Si Lifestyle Managers and Personal Concierge came about through first-hand experience – helping people who had health problems and were struggling to manage their private lives. Due to their circumstances and not being able to do all the things they usually needed to do, their ‘To Do List’ was getting longer and longer and the quality of their lives was slowly deteriorating. By providing hands on assistance and finding solutions to a wide range of problems, their situations were improved dramatically, relieving stress and helping them to recover.

Samantha has worked in the services industry throughout most of her career. She has a Business Degree and Graduate Certificate from the Queensland University of Technology and spent over 10 years working in coordinating and consulting roles. She then moved into sales working for Channel Ten and Next Media as a National Advertising Sales Manager. In 2009 Samantha moved to Milan, Italy for seven years with her Italian husband and their then one year old daughter and toy poodle. There she continued consulting and became involved in the personal concierge industry. She returned to her home town Melbourne in 2016 and has since had the pleasure of working with clients of varied age groups and situations.

Understanding this before they do means you are doing your job well, but seeing that look of surprise and gratitude means you have succeeded.

I believe that to be the best Personal Concierge one must not only be a proficient organiser and lateral thinker with a real ‘can do’ attitude, with a genuine desire to help people, but must also have the right mix of personal values: professionalism, reliability, honesty, loyalty, an open mind about how other people choose to live their lives and to offer empathy and compassion to those who need it.”
Samantha has had her own personal experience with having extended periods of time suffering from debilitating pain while living alone. She has also had direct experience helping people with a diverse range of physical and mental health issues, making her particularly empathetic. She understands that not everyone has a network of family or friends close by to call on for help, at a time when it is needed the most.
